The Mexican Wolf ("lobo")

name: Canis Lupus Baileyi
territory: Once located in the south-western United States and throughout Mexico, it has been eliminated from its natural habitat. Extinct in the wild, about 200 Mexican wolves live today in zoos. 
physical characteristics: They range from about 50-90 lbs, making them the smallest type of Grey wolf. Their coloring ranges from reddish rusted colors to grey and black. 
hunting: GPWs prey primarily on white tailed deer, jackrabbit, small rodents, and muledeer.
